OBJECTIVES
The MOWPA's overarching objectives include

  • To develop appropriate policies and programmes for a safe, reliable and sustainable national road network for the enhancement of economic growth and development
  • To effectively manage all government physical assets.
  • To regulate the Institution of Engineers and Architects
  • Increase efficiency and improve effectiveness in service delivery of public assets.

Structure

AThe Ministry is headed by the Minister who is assisted by a Deputy Minister. The main focus of the Minister and the Deputy Minister is to drive and implement the President’s vision relating to Infrastructural development and Economic Competitiveness as outlined under cluster 3 of the (Medium Term National Development Plan) MTNDP..
